[2023] Fall Bucket List: Williams Sonoma Fall Foods and Two Great Recipes

Everyone talks about doing things that bring you joy and honestly creating a fall bucket list brings All. The. Joy. to one season for me.
Today I was able to mark two things off; Purchase from the Williams Sonoma Fall Food collection and mix up a fall cocktail with the WS Witches Brew Cocktail. The third is just a bonus, I shared an easy and delicious baked brie recipe using WS Pecan Pumpkin Butter. It’s oh so gooey with great fall flavor. My favorite way to scoop it up is with a piece of crusty French bread.

Okay I’m going to stop rambling and let you get into the post. Happy Reading!

Williams Sonoma Fall Foods

Every year I get sucked into the Trader Joes fall foods and every year the only things I use is the Pepita Salsa and the pumpkin bread mix. So this year I decided to mix it up and take on Williams Sonoma. The selection was very well curated with collections titled “pumpkin shop”, “Halloween”, “Day of the Dead”, and “Thanksgiving”. Of course there was a Christmas preview but I am just not there yet, even though I need to be.

What I purchased from the PUMPKIN SHOP:

1. Pecan Pumpkin Butter 13.5 oz. $16.95

2. Pumpkin Marshmallows $10.95

3. Pumpkin Carmel Quick Bread Mix $15.95

4. Gooey Pumpkin Bar Baking Mix $19.95

5. Pumpkin Hot Chocolate Bomb $13.90 for two

Honorable Mentions: Pumpkin Pull Apart Bread, Caramel Pumpkin Butter, Any of the Pumpkin Pancake and Waffle Mixes (heard raving reviews every year), Pumpkin Spice Moravins, and Pumpkin Spice Maple Syrup.

What I purchased from the HALLOWEEN SHOP:

1. Witches Brew Halloween Cocktail Mix $22.95 - Review

2. Halloween Candy Caramel Apples - Set of 4 $59.95

What I purchased from the THANKSGIVING SHOP:

1. Apple Spiced Cocktail Mix $ 19.95

Honorable Mentions: Focaccia Stuffing, Cranberry Relish New England Style, Mashed Potato Seasoning, and Truffle Peppercorn Gravy Base or the Herbs de Provence.

Witches Brew Cocktail

Mixing up this cocktail is going to take a bottle of Williams Sonoma Witches Brew Cocktail which is not only labeled a best seller but boasts an ingredient list of blackberry juice, blood orange juice, and lemon juice (had me at blackberry and blood orange). There is also mention of ginger as a spice and agave as the sweetener. One 24.4 fl. oz. bottle does make 12 cocktails from the serving size directions. Williams Sonoma recommends mixing with your favorite vodka so for a starting point the first round is mixed with Reyka.

However, because I can’t leave well enough alone I took to social media to see how others were mixing this cocktail. Here are some ideas:

Drink #1. Blackberry Mint Cocktail: In a shaker add ice, torn mint leaves, blackberry puree, Witches Brew Cocktail, and dry gin. Shake, Pour, and enjoy (sunshinedaydream on tik tok)

Drink #2. To your Witches Brew Cocktail add a dash of cinnamon, tequila, and ice. Shake with ice in a cocktail shaker. Pour, garnish with a slice of dried blood orange and a sprig of smoky rosemary (just light the end until it smokes, not on fire). Enjoy (plantifullybased on tik tok)
