Shop Your Closet: Pinterest Ad Inspo.
Pinterest is one of my favorite places to go down rabbit holes of inspiration.
While I was clicking away at china patterns and Ralph Lauren meets British country cottage décor I saw an ad for what I’m not sure because I didn’t click it.
However it showed a classic, easy outfit that I thought would be perfect for the office this fall.
So, I decided to shop my own closet and here’s what I came up with…
The Inspiration
The inspiration, a cozy but professional outfit in the perfect fall neutrals.
The draw for me was the lack of bright color like a scoop neck white basic or light weight pants worn during warmer months but instead tones of brown and cream.
The texture and fabric choices of wool, leather, and silk gives professional cozy.
Honestly I’d wear this look grocery shopping, for school pick up (if I was still doing this), running errands, in the office, or even on a coffee date with friends.
The Breakdown
The classic simplicity of this look is what drew me in. It’s not flashy or complicated, just focus on the textures and clothing types. Here’s what I see:
