[2023] Fall Bucket List: A Fall Morning

I have heard there is a movement to romanticize your life.
I stumbled upon it while watching Tik Tok, a romanticized life has quickly become some of my favorite videos.
Videos while it rains with the breeze blowing, falling leaves, a good book opened, and a cup of coffee just freshly made - Heaven.
Romanticizing usually looks like a round up of beautiful clips created into a video with a classical song or a series of photos doing every day tasks in softened settings.
In a world where things aren’t always dreamy I am here for falling back in love with your life.
So I decided to make my morning something I could fall in love with.

It is no secret that I am a summer kind of girl, but there is something really magical about a foggy, crisp morning.
It makes you want to throw open a window or two, grab a cozy sweater, a favorite book, and a warm cup of coffee just like in the videos.
In the spirit of the season I found my way to the kitchen to make a jar of homemade pumpkin spice coffee creamer and a few stacks of my boys favorite griddle pumpkin pancakes cooked in a cast iron skillet, topped with toasted pecans and local maple syrup.
The perfect food to fill up on after an extra early morning of hunting.

I grabbed my spooky ghost KJP sweater and made a quick 8am trip to the local farmers market in search of a new bottle of maple syrup and maybe a loaf of bread from a woman owned bakery in our town.
All other finds were fun treasures.

I have shared the griddle pumpkin pancakes recipe last year so I’ll link them HERE.
Below is a grid of some fall morning photos and my Pumpkin Spice coffee creamer recipe.
I’ve even included a couple of playlists I enjoy listening to.

Favorite Spotify Fall Playlists

Sharing some of my favorite fall playlists. I know every year I list making my own on my fall bucket list but honestly there are so many great ones on Spotify I just listen to what others created. This month I really love bouncing between A Southern Gothic Dollhouse and Beware the Autumn People. Perfect fall spooky vibes.
